About Jonathan Cooper

After representing the insurance industry and governmental entities for nearly 3 years, Jonathan Cooper has applied that experience and knowledge to assisting small businesses and seriously injured individuals in New York's trial and appellate courts for a decade. He is a member in good standing of the New York State Bar, and is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, as well as the Supreme Court of the United States.

Mr. Cooper has given lectures to other attorneys and co-authored practice commentaries on New York's Civil Practice Law and Rules, and is routinely consulted by other law firms as trial and appellate counsel, particularly in complex accident and defective products cases.

Mr. Cooper enjoys playing competitive tennis (he used to teach it!) and takes great pride and joy in his wife and five children, with whom he shares his home, in Queens, New York.
